Weight control is all about controlling calories, but counting calories can be a real neck pain. It takes time, it takes a lot of personal energy, and it may feel uncomfortable as you insist on writing everything when you eat with others. Not to mention that it is almost impossible to do exactly on a permanent basis. Science still finds things that affect the balance of calories that we did not know before. The health of intestinal bacteria is one such example.
These reasons, and more so, why am I a big fan of using methods that give you calorie control without having to resort to counting calories. ,
