Raja Ayurveda says Bean to Bar Chocolate is a food group

Raja Ayurveda says Bean to Bar Chocolate is a food group

One of the questions we often get is: What does Ayurveda say about chocolate? Before we start answering this question, we must make two statements so that we can all be on the same wavelength:

1. When Ayurvedic texts were drawn, cocoa beans were not known to Indian culture. Consequently, the Ayurvedic texts do not mention cocoa beans.

2. Ayurveda says that, above all, food should be healthy and nutritious.

Based on the above two statements, we can now look at the world of chocolate and make an educated decision.
