Low carbohydrate levels have become the biggest diet trend in recent years. Not without reason: Carbohydrate reduction is particularly successful. Even among experts, nutrition is well-received – scientists from Harvard University have even declared it the best in our time. However, there is now an update to the principle of anti-carbohydrates: by supplementing fibers it should benefit health and finally become really full.
Low-carb high-fiber – dietary principle
Low fiber high intake of carbohydrates has what it takes to become a new, great food trend. But what does that mean? Very simple: Carbohydrate supply is – as usual – limited (low carbohydrate), and apart from protein, there are also fibers (high fiber) on the menu.
What are Dietary Fiber?
Dietary fibers are mostly non-combustible fibers and kidney substances, which are mainly found in plant foods such as cereals, vegetables, fruit, seeds or legumes. Fibers increase feelings of satiety, enhance digestion, barely affect the level of blood sugar and so optimally support the diet. Because their consumption prevents craving or blockage. Dietary fibers are not only important for weight loss but also for our health. In the large intestine, it is broken down by bacteria and thus short chain fatty acids, which come into the bloodstream via the intestine and protect against arteriosclerosis and heart disease. In addition, they strengthen our immune system. Dietary fibers are anti-inflammatory and, if they are consumed regularly, help reduce blood pressure and blood cholesterol. Because of these positive benefits, German Food Society recommends eating 30 grams of fiber per day. But since they are in foods like whole grains, a valuable nutrient in low-carbohydrate diets is too short. And that is exactly what should be changed with the new idea of nutrition.
These foods contain a lot of fiber
Whole grain products are rich in fiber, but contain many carbohydrates, which is unfortunately not suitable for high carbohydrate diets. Alternatively, you should focus on foods with a low level of carbohydrates:
- flax seed
- Chia seeds
- hemp seeds
- dehydrated coconut
- Berry fruit
- red tail
Slim in four weeks – low-carbohydrate diet with high fiber content
Low-Carb High-Fiber Diet was developed by a German physician prof. Dr. Honey. Thomas Kurscheid has developed and should be implemented once a year for 28 days, says expert. Lose weight and spoil the body with some sort of cleansing treatment. It goes in two steps:
Phase 1: Week 1 + 2
At the same time, the first stage of nutrition is the tallest, because during this time you eat on the principle of low carbohydrate. This means that a maximum of 25 to 30 grams of carbohydrates is allowed per day. It is important for the body to change its metabolism in this way. Instead of carbohydrates, fat deposits are used to generate energy. Specifically: We burn lots of fat. Fibers from high fat foods such as avocado, nuts, and seeds complement the diet focused on other proteins at this stage and make us feel full.
Stage 2: Week 3 + 4
In the second stage, more carbohydrates are allowed: 50 grams a day. Important: Choose carbohydrates with high carbohydrate content and the above mentioned food. The level of blood sugar and insulin in that period falls to a low, even level. This prevents (hot) hunger and thus automatically increases stamina.
Weight loss with high carbohydrate content – used by eating
Anyone who has ever tried low carbohydrate intake knows it is effective but also difficult to maintain. However, refilling the fiber will make it much easier because phytochemicals provide quick and long-lasting satiety and fight against craving and craving. Meals will be much easier and more suitable for everyday use, but at least as successful as before. Because even when fibers bring more carbohydrates to the board – they support weight loss through improved jointness and healthy hose. This is the basis for a slim body. And our health is overcome by updating with a lot of fiber because fibers protect the heart, prevent digestive problems and strengthen the immune system of our body. Hence, low-carbohydrate-rich foods are definitely worth trying. Even for those who do not feel like losing weight, it's important to pay more attention to the daily need of 30 grams.
