What is Foot Massage Massage?

Where does reflexology come from?

What happens during reflex foot massage?
Reflexological foot massage should be done by trained naturopath, masseur, doctor or physiotherapist. This is sought after complaints or any existing state of affairs and can also exclude reasons that reflect reflexology.
Reflex massage is usually performed while you lie or sit. The patient should be in a comfortable position and should not freeze or sweat during treatment.

As a rule, reflex foot massage lasts about 20-45 minutes. Depending on the condition, foot reflex massage should be run two to three times a week.
Can Reflex Massage Do Yourself Do It?
With a little practice, foot reflexology massage can also be done by itself. Massage technique is generally valid: never use force! As a rule, it works with your thumb in flowing forward movements – a similar run of the caterpillar. Always start with a right foot massage, then swipe left. Even with certain diseases that may affect the metabolism and the immune system, reflexive foot massage should be discarded:
- Vomiting or lymphatic inflammation
- Thrombosis (venous blood clots)
- Infections associated with high temperature
- Pregnancy (premature labor can be started)
What side effects may occur during the massage?
Foot reflexology is a gentle method of treatment without side effects. In very rare cases, however, tachycardia or palpitations or sudden outbreaks of sweating may occur. These complaints should be reported to the doctor immediately. Cardiac patients or patients with hypertension must talk to their doctor before use.
Is health insurance paid by a reflex foot massage?
Since the healing effects of reflexology in the feet have not yet been scientifically confirmed, foot reflexology is only seen as a supporting and supportive measure not covered by health insurance.
