Due to the bank employee's suspicions, a fraudster was discovered. He wanted to take money from Essen – supposedly for a niece.
An attentive employee of the bank saves the elder of cunning
At the beginning of the week, the police in Essen re-wrote several lawsuits for attempting fraud and theft. Every day, strangers invite older people and try to get rid of money or other valuables. Due to frequent warnings, the police expanded through media and Facebook, but many citizens are now alerted.
The bank informed the police
But their often frightening and frightening stories, in which perpetrators convert to grandchildren, nurses, or other close family members, come in one or the other case to the goal. Almost Monday (July 1st): In order to help his nurses quickly in an emergency, he was older at Frohnhausen on his way to his savings bank. He asked a bank employee to pay a sum of five euros. But the attentive banker was sensitized – probably through years of co-operation with the police in Essen, where bank employees are particularly knowledgeable about fraudulent tricks.
And so the planned offense should collapse in the last second: In a confidential conversation, the older client of the bank told about the invocation of the alleged niece, after which the bank informed the police. This case is now being handled by the Criminal Police in Essen.
