Susanne Eisenmann (CDU), Minister of Education in Baden-Württemberg, answers questions during the conversation.

Health as a Subject? Of them, Minister of Education Susanne Eisenmann (CDU) does not care about it. Health in general and nutrition, and particularly healthy lifestyles, are certainly very important topics at school, says the German news agency Eisenmann. However, these topics are largely rooted in the curriculum, and the students would have the necessary knowledge for healthy eating.

Since the subject is being dealt with broadly in the classroom and classroom levels, the Ministry of Culture does not consider that the subject's own subject matter is purposeful. Continued demand for additional topics such as everyday user or tax declarations can not be introduced simply because time schedules and teaching hours are not infinite, the authorities said.

President Klaus Reinhardt urged the children to systematically inform about healthy lifestyle even in school. In his opinion, promoting health should become a subject in elementary school. This includes, for example, knowledge of a healthy diet. Reinhardt has called on ministers of education and health in the country to launch a joint action to put prevention on the curriculum.
