Gundelfinger attacker gains confidence

In the 5-1 victory at a friendly match with FC Günzburg Gundelfingen shows offensive good practices. What coaches are particularly happy about.

It was a clear thing. S 5: 1 (3: 1) retained footballers FC Gundelfingen in a friendly match against the FC FC FC Gunzburg. Coach Martin Weng was particularly pleased: "By the end we were hungry and we deserved to score."

Why would more goals for Gundelfingen be possible?

Gundelfinger was more likely to do so. New recruiter Philipp Schmid twice hit the interior of Günzburger's residential area. However, the 24-year-old did not have to worry too much, as he finished his personal score on the third goalie in the green and white jersey and scored for the first time.

And twice. For the first time in just five minutes – and his reliefs, it was obvious that even a small stone fell from his heart.

The equalizer of the guests was a surprise

Somewhat surprisingly, district leaders from the neighboring town reached 25th in the 25th minute. Former junior FCG Benjamin Wahl sent passionately to Maximilian Lamatsch, the archer then unselfishly crossed over and Christoph wax pushed 1-1. "Unfortunately, we have allowed such contra-attacks too often, in situations that are too bad to provide," Weng complained.

But for too long the lot had no stock, which was also due to the replacement. Tarik Öz entered the game 33 minutes into the game, 60 seconds later he scored 2: 1, and not two minutes later the attacker even increased to 3: 1.

Why was the last 15 minutes crucial?

The National League had clear events, but lasted until the last quarter of an hour before the remaining two goals fell. Schmid met after a long transition from Marius Brugger to 4: 1, shortly after that Schmid made a 5: 1 preparation from Benedikt Ost on the ankle. "All three attackers met with them, it certainly is not bad for self-confidence," coach Weng said with pleasure.
