Japanese Water Diet: Lose Weight While Strengthening Your Health

Weight loss: Japanese water therapy helps with weight loss

Japanese water therapy is a method used to combat various health problems. In addition, this diet helps in weight loss. We explain how it works.

Lose weight and improve health

Water is vital. Nutrition experts advise taking at least 1.5 liters of fluid a day. In heat or heavy exercise more. Some nutritionists also recommend starting the day with a glass of lukewarm lemon water to boost metabolism and boost the immune system. Many follow this advice in Japan. There is a certain type of water therapy that is known to contribute to weight loss and improve health.

Drink water immediately after waking up

As explained on the portal "NDTV Food", Japanese water therapy helps to purify the stomach and strengthen the digestive system.

Traditional Japanese medicine recommends drinking water as soon as you wake up in the early morning.

This not only helps with weight loss but also in the treatment of various health problems.

For example, nutritionist Victoria Udoh writes in a post on Linkedin that research has shown that drinking water on an empty stomach in the morning cleanses her own body system.

According to one skilled in the art, water therapy relieves symptoms such as constipation and high blood pressure, and can help with illnesses such as diabetes.

And it helps reduce stress.

This is how water therapy works

NDTV Food explains how Japanese water therapy works:

As soon as you wake up in the morning, drink four to six glasses of water, each containing 160 to 200 milliliters, on an empty stomach. Ideally, water should be drunk at room temperature or lukewarm. You can also squeeze it in some fresh lemon juice.

Brush your teeth after drinking and avoid eating or drinking for at least 45 minutes. Then you can continue the diet as usual.

Do not eat and drink for at least two hours after each meal of the day.

Elderly people who suffer from a serious condition should start therapy with a glass of water a day and gradually increase the number of glasses.

If you cannot drink all four glasses of water at once, wait a few minutes between each glass of water to stop your stomach.

Daily routine

Therapy recommends that the above tips be part of your daily routine.

In addition, the portal highlights further recommendations:

Walk in peace for at least an hour a day to boost metabolism.

Cook at least 4-5 times each night with warm water and salt before bed.

Avoid eating and drinking while standing, as this may interfere with the digestive process.

Chew your food properly before swallowing, as it helps in better digestion of the food.

The feeling of hunger is reduced

Although German experts point out that frequent drinking of water reduces hunger, a diet with water should be expected, but no wonder.

Success depends largely on the individual design of the diet, namely the pursuit of diet and exercise.

The positive thing is that this method, which we can't really call dieting, doesn't expect a yo-yo effect, because it doesn't specify a strict program. (AD)
