Mayor Christoph Tesche made another visit to the Paulihausen tourist site at the Bauspielfarma site in Suderwich.
Over a week, more than 100 children between the ages of 6 and 14 live in their own village with their own town hall, their own newspaper, their own TV studio, wood workshop, kitchen and patisserie. Even his own money is used in Paulihausen.
The rules governing their village are determined by the children themselves. For Mayor Paulihausen, participants in a popular holiday campaign selected Paul's donkey this year. Tesche, of course, insisted that he visit his colleague and give him a toddler.
After interviewing the editors of Paulihausen aktuell and the camera team, Tesche underwent a massage at the wellness oasis. By the way, a polishing machine was also used, which is otherwise used to make cars look great.
During the visit, Tesche paid a big compliment to the dedicated Bauspielfarm team: "Every year they create a great environment that allows children to develop freely and let their creativity burst into an atmosphere that reigns here. It is very clear how comfortable children feel."
And, of course, the mayor did not miss the opportunity this year to honor the residents of Paulihausen, both large and small, at a round of ice cream.
