Todd Steel is a high school art teacher and artist based in Rochester, New York. He holds degrees from SUNY Geneseo and the Rochester Institute of Technology. He creates canvases with recycled wood pieces and a variety of drawing and painting materials. These mixed media works help to tell the life story of his subjects, as well as to create a connection with the viewer. Todd shows his work regionally in various solo and group exhibitions. His newest solo show, American Voices, took place at Maker's Gallery. A native of Rochester, Todd is excited that his work is becoming a permanent part of town.
