Learn how to break through the emotional and physical boundaries of "fear" and re-engage with enthusiasm and opportunity. Participants will learn 14 different "fear of fear" interventions that will leave them with a new sense of positivity and ready to make the impossible possible. Identify how "fear" and "stress" can create emotional and physical obstacles that prevent stories of opportunity. At the end of the course, participants will be able to list and regularly perform 14 different "fear of fear" interventions to help maintain positive energy and enthusiasm on a regular basis and write their own success story. Participants will be able to discuss how managing fear, stress, and other negative barriers in positive ways helps increase overall satisfaction and happiness, laying a stronger foundation for opportunity.
anea Miller is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Washington state. Lanea graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. Over the last 10 years, she has provided thousands of hours of individual, couple, family, and group therapy in a variety of community settings. In addition to her private practice, Coloring Opportunities, Lanea is currently working in two different community clinics as a behavioral health specialist with low-income families. It has facilitated many different trainings and groups for narrative therapy, enhancing positive self-esteem and motivation. Lanea also hosts the Talk Therapy radio program at 1180AM KLAY. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
