Stretches, also called striae gravidarum, can occur when your skin is stretched or rapidly growing during pregnancy. The resulting broken blood vessels initially appear in lighter shades of pink, which slowly turn into silver-gray lines. Stretches are the most common in the abdomen and chest, but they can also occur in other areas of the body, such as the legs and arms. The appearance of stretch marks can make some people very conscious, eventually seeking the services of a dermatologist. For those looking for less active solutions, using protein as a natural remedy is an alternative. The protein contains amino acids and proteins that some may find to heal the skin and restore it to a smooth and youthful appearance.
Use proteins to get rid of stretch marks
Separate egg whites from 2 eggs from their yolk. This can be achieved by splitting the egg with a knife everywhere and separating the two halves so far that the protein drips into the shell. The yolk remains in the eggshell and can be discarded or used for other purposes.
Beat the egg whites with a fork. A light whip is enough.
Apply a thick layer of white egg to your scars. A clean makeup brush or even a brush helps to distribute the protein evenly across the skin.
Allow the white eggs to dry completely, then rinse with cold water. Dry the area with a soft cloth and rub in a thin layer of olive oil.
Repeat the procedure at least 3 times a day to see the results. Stretches should be less noticeable in the coming weeks and the process may stop once you are satisfied with the result.
