However, low calorie intake on fasting days is questionable, and calorie counting alone can be a hassle and make it too messy to get into the thing. Therefore, Scheinfast should do no more than two weeks and be sure to adhere to two days of fasting, otherwise it can cause unpleasant body reactions, such as headaches and fainting. Malnutrition can also be a result if the vegan diet is too one sided. In doubt: Listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs!
